I’m a young artist from Melbourne. I graduated in Fine Arts at The University of Melbourne, Victorian College of the Arts, where I studied under many of Melbourne’s finest visual artists.
I’ve won several awards as an emerging artist. My paintings have been commissioned by individuals and organisations and have been displayed in galleries in Victoria.
My work is largely acrylic paint on canvas and paper but I also create artworks via other mediums. Paintings are frequently large in scale and my work is distinctive with bold use of colour, symbolism and line. It offers abstract interpretations of place and mood.
I’m also a contracted professional cricketer. Many of my artworks reflect the routines, training and the environments I place myself in, to achieve success. Repetition of movement, shape, pattern, environment and colour all influence my artwork and cricket. The colours in my works highlight the love and joy I find in both art and cricket.
Art and sport is the best way to show and be myself.
I began playing cricket with my Dad at Warrandyte Cricket Club during my final years at High School. In my first season I played with the Warrandyte Senior Men’s Grade 7s, where I was warmly welcomed and fell in love with the sport. I then moved to Plenty Valley Women’s Premier League Club where I started approaching my cricket more seriously. I was selected to participate in the Cricket Victoria Pathways Program which led to me signing with Cricket Victoria and the WBBL Melbourne Stars.
I’m represented by the sports management company TLA, www.tlaworldwide.com and I’m sponsored by Kookaburra.
I very proudly support the Dear Dyslexic Foundation including being the winner of the 2020 Faces of Dyslexia Self Portrait competition.
My favorite design tool is Figma, though I'm fine working with Sketch, Adobe CC, Zeplin, and others as well.
