Elements (3)

The pitch is at the centre of the game of cricket.  It is the biggest element – perhaps too big to be contained in one frame. It reflects the green around it, the blue sky above it; the red heat of the sun; the dominance of the bails. It contains the memory of the flight of balls and the path of hits by the bats.
